When I ride my 15 year old bay danish warmblood on a trail through the woods she will suddenly bulk when we hit this odd clearing that has a bunch of mounds in it. I almost always have to dismount and force her to move down the trail. As soon as we are away from that spot she is completely fine. My other horses do the same thing only she is the worst. What should I do about it?

That has to do with training and a horse spooking at something odd. I have 6 horses and every one of them will react differently out on trail to an encounter with an odd shaped tree or rock. I have one AQHA that doesn't mind cattle but spooks at cow dung (the smell is what sets him off).
You will have better luck if you ride with someone else that has a horse that does not spook at the mounds. Your horse will learn not to be afraid of the mounds from the other horse faster than you constantly working on de-spooking your horse.
Your horse's acting up probably has very little to do with the supernatural world.

I have riden with a lady on the same trail who has a horse that does war recreations so he isn't afraid of cannons nothing but he spooks at the same place to and I have even ridden with other people and their horse and they do the same thing.

I guess now is the time to do some local research on what those "mounds" really are.

I totally agree ==== I hope by now you have found out because I'm really curious ==== This sounds like it could be supernatural or somebody burried some toxic chemicals ==== Heh heh just kidding but something is there ===== Try a gygercounter if I spelled it right ========== Post the results =========

The original poster never did come back and report what she found out about those mounds. I wonder what happened.
