My family and I have 2 cats and 3 dogs! Yeah to say the least we are animal lovers. At night, the cats would like to sleep in our bedrooms, only to wake us up in the middle of the night to be let out. My husband and I came to the point where we made sure the cats were outside at bedtime, so we would not be disturbed.
One night, I felt at the light jump of a cat on the bed, and heard the purring, so I figured that Jo somehow got to stay in that night. I got up and began looking for her to no avail. The next morning I went to let the dogs out and Jo and Emmy came running in from outside.
A couple of night later, my daughter complained about Jo laying on her, and knocking things off her dresser in the middle of the night, which of course both cats were outside. Still on most nights, I hear things fall in my daughters room and hit the floor.
This continues to this day... My Ghost Cat jumps on the bed in the middle of the night, sometimes swatting at my toes when I move them, and it purrs really loud! I can't believe that we can hear it.
My husband has just recently acknowledged that he has experienced the Ghost Cat, and that he has heard the purring. I am glad that it is a cat and not something else.

Since posting this message the other day. A couple of nights ago, I was watching t.v. in my bedroom and my cat Jo came in and jumped on the bed. She was sitting there licking her paws, and it felt like another cat had jumped on the bed, and Jo jumped, turned around and hissed like another cat had come up behind her. Instead of lying down with me, she jumped off the bed and left the room. A few minutes later, my dog Chance was lying on his bed in my room and he began growling, so I am assuming that the Ghost Cat was in the room bothering the other animals.
I don't no where the spirit has come from. The only cat that we have lost was 14 years ago and he ran away. My husband says, that seeing how both of our cats are rescues/strays that the Ghost Cat feels that we will talk him in also. Guess we have!

I think it is wonderful that your Ghost Cat has found you. Since people rarely report a death of an animal in a house, it could be a prior resident of the house or a spirit guardian. American Indians put great value on spirit guides and protectors and many of them are animals.
Unless the cat becomes a problem and starts to inflict injury by scratching you or your daughter then I would just relax and accept it. It is possible when one of your own pets passes over, they will chase the ghost cat out and replace it. I had that happen in a home I lived in about 20 years ago. We had a human ghost and once our cat died, she kicked out that ghost and then disappeared herself.

Please, I would love to reduce my pycsic ablities, I can't take anymore of not knowing what Im letting in. I now have a ghost cat, more like a kitten, it runs up and down me all night, I'm not sleeping and it's wearing me down. please tell me how to make it leave. It's not bad it's just annoying and my health is an issue now. If anybody knows how to reduce the phycic (sorry cant spell it) energy tell me. I've had it all my life and I'm just tired. Thank you.
